Thank you for considering donating to Highway House. At Highway House, we provide food and shelter to homeless men 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year. To date, Highway House has supported over 700 people to rebuild their lives. We support up to 50 people at any one time and help people by offering counselling, addiction support, medical care and more. We receive no government funding and rely solely on the kind and generous donations from individuals. Any support you are able to provide makes a difference.

An independent report shows that every £1 invested in Highway House gives back £5 to society. IT means that your donations are working hard to reduce expenditure in the NHS, local authorities, housing and other public bodies.

RESEARCH that Shows Your Donations Give back to Society A research study completed in July 2016 by the University of East London, found that at Highway House we:

• Effectively enhanced the quality of life of residents by improving their mental and physical health
• Reduce the offending rate among residents, thus, averting funds that would have been spent to manage criminal activities in the borough
• Improve resident's self-esteem
• Provide an environment to build social capital
• Avert spending from several government revenues

Highway House operates from the generous donations of individuals to whom we are extraordinarily grateful. We do not receive any government funding, which means we are able to tailor our services to those we help. It also means that we don't have strict criteria on who we can help and as a result we have been able to help some of most disenfranchised in our society, and often those who often cannot be helped by other organisations.
